Elevating the Pearl River Economic Belt to a National Strategy provided by Guizhou Academy of Social Sciences argues for the strategic and overall significance of the Pearl River Economic Belt as a belt of economic growth, southward opening-up, regional connectivity, national security and ethnic integration in alignment with “One Outline, One Law, One Plan, One Program, One Canal, and One Mechanism.” Guizhou included this project in its 2024 provincial-level major social science planning framework. The Secretary of the CPC Committee in Guizhou made important instructions on this project, and policy recommendations were submitted to the central government through the General Office of the Guizhou Provincial CPC Committee.
